I thought I would turn today’s blog over to our in-house female representative, Tess. (She has been all too eager to share this song anyways.)
The question is: Do you really need something fancy?
Before answering, I’ll give you some background: I was reading through your comments this week ladies, and a lot of you have been asking for reception music suggestions. Well, you can scratch ‘First Dance Song’ off the list because I have found the most romantic song possible.
It’s call nothing ‘Nothing Fancy,’ and it is by Dave Barnes - (Side note: I think we have an up-and-coming heart throb on our hands with this guy.)
Check out the song for yourself - warning: tissues may be in order.
Just in case you missed the full extend of these simple yet oh-so-satisfying lyrics, I’ll key you in on my favorite:
“There’s nothing fancy ’bout the way I love, but I love you as hard as I can.”
Really ladies, what more can you ask for? A cute guy strummin’ an acoustic, softly singing those words. We have a winner!
So, do you really need something fancy? I think not (at least not with your First Dance Song.)
