I received a lot of comments from Wednesday’s blog asking where you can apply for your marriage licenses in Metro Detroit.  Here you go Southeast Michigan brides and grooms. Ask and you shall receive.

I’ll recap the major points from Wednesday’s blog as well:

  • You must apply in the county where you live
  • Cost: about $20 in-state, $30 out-of-state
  • There is a 3-day wait period between applying and when the certificate is issued
  • You can get married immediately after the certificate is issued.
  • The certificate is only valid for 33 days from the date of the application.
